It is a long standing dream of mine to sit co-pilot in a REALLY fast plane. I’d settle for a “tiger” cruise on an aircraft carrier, but I’m not close enough to anyone in that division of the navy.

I've been lucky and I fly in a slow jet because of everything that hangs off of it. The biggest difference between flying in an airliner at 28k and a jet is the vibrations/movement and then the maneuverability. The sensation of speed though isn't as dramatic at least to my senses until we go on low levels then the ground rush adds a good bit of it.

Yeah, I’m trying to feel what it feels like to make turns while BALLING in one of those little jets. Prob pass out and choke on my puke.

That lead image is gorgeous. Suitable for framing. Looks like your seat is a higher too, giving you a nice view out the front window.

A little less jerky than a Rollercoaster (pilot dependant) with a good bit more sustained Gs. T he more you do it the more you get accustomed. If I haven't flown in awhile though I'll be feeling it.

I can see everywhere but right in front of me because of the displays 1130 to 1230 is just a green display box.

Great photo’s. The F-18 is one of my favorite all time jets for the swoopy lines and shape of the wings coming up the fuselage .

I absolutely love that modern fighters have the functional equivalent of a big screen TV in the cockpit AND you’re wearing a HUD on your face.
